Jermaine “Rock” Anderson was raised by his grandparents in Toronto, ON. He was able to use basketball as a tool to make it out of his community. He received an athletic scholarship to Fordham University and graduated with a B.A. in Marketing.
Jermaine later played professionally in Europe for over a decade, while serving as team captain for the Canadian Senior Men’s National team. He participated in the 2007 Pan American Games and the 2010 FIBA World Championship.
After retiring, he completed his MBA at Ted Rogers School of Management. His MRP focused on the impact of financial literacy education on youth and the need for structural change. Currently, he’s a licensed mortgage agent, insurance broker and serves as the GM & VP of Basketball Operations for the Brampton Honey Badgers in the Canadian Elite Basketball League.
