Courtney Charles currently serves as the Vice President of Basketball & Franchise Operations for Raptors 905, the NBA G League affiliate of the Toronto Raptors since joining in 2020.

A Toronto native, Charles brings over 17 years of NBA experience to his role as he oversees business operations, basketball affairs and long-term strategic planning. He has been able to continue his current role focusing on player on-boarding, financial planning, team marketing, community initiatives and sponsorships. His success comes with a D-League Championship in 2017 and a NBA Championship in 2019

Charles holds a Master’s Degree in Science (Health and Physical Education) from Marshall University and Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration-Management from Lewis University. While at Lewis, Charles was an NCAA All American athlete in Track & Field.

Beyond his work, Charles has a passion for inspiring and educating youth through sports. He currently sits on the Tribute Advisory Committee for The Legacy Awards along with being a board member for Ontario Basketball Association.
