Our Programs

Fifty for Free provides a variety of free programs year-round in both Toronto, Ontario, and Halifax, Nova Scotia. These programs enable youth to enhance their basketball skills while acquiring invaluable financial literacy knowledge.

Summer
Programs

Our girls-only and coed programs help youth develop their basketball skills and learn the training requirements needed to advance to the next level. Youth also gain critical skills in budgeting, debt management and holistic nutrition.

March Break Programs

Our March Break program offers youth with the perfect opportunity to build confidence, teamwork skills and resilience through basketball. Additionally, they’ll acquire the money smarts they need for a financially savvy future.

What is the cost for these programs?

All Fifty for Free programs are free of charge to youth and their families!

How long does each program last?

Our summer programs last 4 to 6 weeks, our March Break program lasts one week and our school year programs can range from a single session to 8 weeks.

How many days per week is each program?

We offer a variety of programs for youth. Our summer programs operate 5 days a week, from Monday to Friday, excluding statutory holidays, while our school year programs typically run twice a week.

What are the age requirements to participate in the programs?

Youth must be between the ages of 13 and 19.

What cities and provinces are programs located?

Right now, programs are available in Toronto, Ontario and Halifax, Nova Scotia, however, we’ll be expanding to other locations across Canada.
